Creamy cheddar soup with premium lager in home baked bread

Since this recipe is in Hungarian, You can find a basic but handy vocabulary here to figure out what kind of ingredients you need.

If I see a soup served in a little round bread, it always reminds me to the little, traditional restaurants at the countryside with white walls, thatched roof and red Pelargoniums.

But what is inside these little round breads could be a nice part of the meal when you have guests since the ingredients are very simple and a kind of cheap, but the taste of the veggies, cheese and premium lager together… amazing combination! And if you are brave enough to bake your own breads what you can use as serving ‘bowls’, your guests and your family will be dazzled. I suggest you to try it, there is nothing to lose… in the worst case your guests will eat the soup from plates.

I baked the breads a day before my guests arrived, but carved them and put them in the oven for a few minutes before I served the fresh soup.

When you eat the hot soup, you can carve some crust together with a spoonful of soup from the inner wall of your bread… so the bread won’t be waste, because everyone can eat it together with their soup. Fanastic!

Ha egy cipóban tálalt levest látok, az mindig a takaros vidéki éttermekre, csárdákra emlékeztet fehér falakkal, nádtetővel és piros muskátlikkal.

De ami ezekben a kis kerek levescipókban van az nagyszerű része lehet egy menüsornak amikor vendégeket vársz, mivel az alapanyagok egyszerűek és némileg olcsóak is, de a zöldségek, a sajt és a sör íze együtt… csodás kombináció! Ha elég bátor vagy ahhoz, hogy magad süsd meg a cipócskáidat amiket a szervírozáskor tálként használhastz a vendégek és a család is el lesznek kápráztatva. Javaslom, hogy próbáld meg, nincs mit vesztened, legrosszabb esetben tányérból eszik a vendégek a levest…

Amikor a forró levest eszed, lefaraghatsz némi kenyeret egy kanál levessel együtt a cipód belső faláról… így a kenyér sem vész kárba, mert mindenki megeszegetheti a levessel együtt. Fanatasztikus!
